Useful tips

Don’t forget that local French tourist boards and offices often divide their administrative territory into various Pays or Terroirs, making it somewhat complicated for those without advanced prior knowledge of the area or who do not speak French. A good bet is simply to write or e-mail the town or organisation you want to in English. Or e-mail us at lot-et-garonne@cg47.fr and we’ll do our best to make sure you get the information you require.

As far as general questions are concerned (history, architecture, nature and so forth), we are only too open to your questions, queries, comments and critiques. We are particularly keen to correspond and exchange information with people around the world who are interested in any aspect of our local life and history, including all things "French Paradox".
