Clock-tower at Tournon d’Agenais ( :A.G.-CG47) |

As you wend up the D656 road, Tournon d’Agenais looms large against the horizon, perched on a craggy outcrop envelopped in a shawl of ramparts through which the spiral paths lead up to the inner town.
Once more, the orderly gridiron pattern of the typical Bastide builder has laid out the streets from the central market place to include the clock tower and its Moon Clock, the ancient house of the Agen bishops and a calm public garden.
From here, the view fans out over the Boudouyssou valley, while behind you is the Verdu forest land and views over the Quercy Blanc.
